Still here.

Yep. I'm still here. I'll bet you thought I forgot about my blog, didn't you? Well good news. I am apparently like an elephant because elephants never forget. Or something.

Anyway, I'm still here. And I've just been busy been doing these things, among others:

Working.
Mowing my lawn.
Starting a veggie garden.
Playing with Kennedy.
Swimming.
Hanging out with my boyfriend.
Cleaning my house.
Eating lots of food.
Fantasizing about tropical vacations.
Planning non-tropical vacations.
Reading books.
Sleeping.
Playing with Ashlee.
And then I repeat the cycle.

It's pretty exciting.

One of these days I'm going to actually blog about some of this exciting stuff. Like Kennedy's birthday party last week. (She just turned 8!! Holy crap, how did that happen?) Or like about how we went to Seattle forever ago. Or like about my garden. Or how my mom came to visit. Or my new shoes. Or about my opinions on political issues. Or about things that irk me. Or about my distaste for mushrooms. Or something.

For now, you'll have to be satisfied with this unfortunately underwhelming blog post.

Any complaints may be submitted to my email address, which I may or may not get around to reading.

However, so that you have less to complain about, here is a picture of Kennedy at her birthday party, in front of her tower of Ninjago cupcakes:

Happy birthday, miss Kennedy Rae!! I love you!

(Do you like how I slipped that little part in there about a boyfriend? I'm so sneaky.)

Um, no idea what a ninjago is. But good for her. Those cupcakes look adorable in the picture. I bet they were. Was baking in the list of things you are doing lately? IDK, I lost track after I saw the part about hanging out with your BF. I saw that. Good for you. I'm happy you're happy. :)

I'm waving to you now. :)

I love all your posts! I never leave your blog "underwhelmed". I do sometimes leave it intrigued though...boyfriend? Did you say boyfriend? Now that could make for a fun blog post;) Happy Birthday to your miss Kennedy!! I remember very well the day she was born and her daddy called and told us how perfect she was...I love that our girls are so close in age:)

I'm waving right back to you, Sarah! Hi!!! And no, baking wasn't on my list. But I think I'll make sure it gets on my next list.

Des- I'll post about the boyfriend, soon :D He's pretty dang awesome. And we should get Kennedy and Tay together soon!

I can't believe you don't like mushrooms. I couldn't read anymore of the blog after I read that. Mushrooms are gods fungus. And the boyfriend? I'll bet he likes mushrooms. I think I could cure you with a big bowl of my mushroom chili.

I'm glad you didn't forget about your blog because I enjoy it a great deal.

It's been fun to be able to share in some of those things on your list with you...

Kennedy is adorable and her birthday was great fun.

I really like your boyfriend. He is mom approved.

Hi, Still Here. :) I'm Still Here too, what a coincidence. I'm glad we both are, although you wouldn't know it from checking my blog. Haha. Yes, you are admirably sneaky. I have to say, mushrooms are growing on me. Not literally though, no worries. :)

Sneaky? No, it was blatantly obvious that you were just trying to rub it in our faces that you have an amazing boyfriend that you love spending time with. (Implying that we don't have one. Niener niener.) It's okay. I don't want a boyfriend anyway! (Or maybe I'm reading in between the lines too much there...) Hope you stay busy enjoying all of life's little pleasures. :)
