Busy as a Bee

This is what I've been up to, besides working every effing day of my life:

Taking Kennedy to gymnastics. She loves it. Although now she seems to think that EVERYWHERE she goes is a gymnasium.

El martes por la noche, Yo aprendo español en un clase con mi amigas Ashlee y Sharisse. Es muy divertida.

To help me learn spanish more quickly, I'm reading Harry Potter y las Reliquias de la Muerte (the 7th book). It takes me about 15 minutes to read one page. Hopefully I'll be done by July.

Last Saturday I sat in a recording studio and recorded some vocals for a friend's band- they had me come up with lyrics AND melody, which was somewhat stressful, but fun. I'll let you know when the song is up on Itunes.

Ashlee and I are thinking of starting a cake business. So we are practicing making/decorating cakes. It's fun.

I might be the lead singer for Justin's band, Vicious Starfish. We're going to try it out and see how it goes. The current lead singer decided he just wants to write the music and play guitar.

And the most insane of my endeavors is that I wake up at 5:30 every morning and do P90X. For those of you who aren't familiar with it, it's a 90 day intense workout program. Every day of my life, there is at least some part of my body that is in total pain. I'll let you know in a few weeks if it's worth it. OH- and I want to strangle Tony Horton and all those stupid idiots with amazing bodies on the videos who can do an hour and a half of yoga without falling over even once.

This is my life. So I apologize for the lack of blogging, lately. Hopefully you understand.

I'm so excited you're doing all these things (except working of course)....

As you know, I think recording studios are among the coolest places on earth - I LOVE recording/being in a recording studio. Haven't had nearly enough opportunity to do so - but enjoy it every time I do. You're living my dream and I'm thrilled for you!

Also delighted about the cake decorating thing. It's genetic. So glad you'll be putting all my supplies to use! Just promise you'll let me play with you in the cake kitchen when I come to town :)

Not so excited about the early rising nor the body pain - but you'll love the results.

And Kennedy / gymnastics is a perfect fit.

I'm truly amazed with all you pull off in a day and week.

I'm So glad I read this TODAY. I have been working out in the evenings when Kendrick gets home. But that really only works Mon-Thurs IF he is staying at home in the evening. So today I decided I'd start waking up in the morning. And don't ask me why but just reading that YOU wake up early in the morning to work out gives me more motivation. So thanks!

My Lord girl. I'm tired just reading that! Please post pics of your muscular P90X body for us to be jealous us when you are done with the torture.

I hope we get to hear your song!

Sheesh!! Talk about making the most out of your day! At least all of your endeavors are worthwhile. I've thought about the P90X business, but I've also decided not to worry too much about my body image until after I am done having kids. I'm just going to enjoy the roller coaster for the next few years!

Yeay for gymnastics! That one was my favorite part of the whole story. We'll have to hang out so she can show me what she can do. Where does she take it at? I showed Zen a cartwheel yesterday and he was trying it..SO CUTE. I bet its so fun to watch her. I bet its also nice when she's all worn out from a day at gymnastics:) That would be my favorite part as a mom.

What is the spanish class for? Sounds like fun! You have been busy! I'll bet Kennedy is the cutest little gymnast. (sp?) A lead singer in a band, how cool! You do have a great voice. :-) And what is the deal with P90X? I swear everyone on the planet is doing that right now. Oh well, I have a child center at the gym that watches my young'uns so I can actually work out for longer than 10 minutes before I get interrupted (because I'm sure not getting up at 5:30!) But you go girl! ;-)

Holy Mrs. Productivity, Batman! That's awesome you're able to do so many things, AND work a full-time job. Insane! But awesome! (And amazing) Congratulations on it all.

Y después de aprender un poco de español en Costa Rica, tal vez podamos tener una verdadera conversación en español.
(Thank heaven for Google Translator) :)

@Erin- she goes to gymnastics at a place right down the street from our house. It's so convenient.

@Brandon- Ashlee and I are planning on learning it well enough so that we can ease on into our Costa Rica trip next year :)

Sounds like fun! I want to make pretty cakes. Good luck with that. And the singing! As far as the workouts go, I hear your pain. I just got the slim in 6 dvds. Not sure if they are exciting enough for me. But I do feel it in the leggies. Keep up the good work girl!!

P90X sucks. I did it for three weeks and never made it through one full work out. Maybe it's me that sucks. If anyone can do it, you can!!
