Kennedy-isms

We had a very windy morning, today, as we were walking to our car:

Kennedy: Whoah! That's a lot of wind! I don't want to get blowed away.
Me: Oh I don't want to get blown away, either, but I don't think the wind is strong enough.
Kennedy: It's ok if you get blowed away, though, mom. You can just walk back.

Kennedy: Mom, can I have a gorilla bar?
Me: Sure, honey. So why do you think it's called a gorilla bar?
Kennedy: Because it has chocolate chips in it.
Me: ...and do those make it look like a gorilla?
Kennedy: Yep.
Me: Oh, I see. I actually think it's called a "granola bar" because it's made out of granola.
Kennedy: Oh. [Pause] Daddy looks like a gorilla.

Me
: Kennedy, you need to finish your pasta.
Kennedy: It's not pasta!! It's MA-CA-RO-NI. You're so silly, mom.

LOLOL.... I can't wait to see her in 2 days!!!! I love when you post these cute kennedy-isms. And I'll have to take a closer look at Justin to see if there is a gorillaesque look to him..... I hadn't noticed one before.

She is so funny. And blogs are so great....

I love how smart she sounds. And so grown up.

I love these. I think you should make it a regular weekly feature in your blog. Kennedyisms Of The Week.

She is so imaginitive! I love the way she thinks and I love that you post the funny things she says. She is a little smarty pants, I think she is going to give you a run for your money!

I agree with Kristin. This needs to be a regular feature on your blog, they are way too cute.

Something about her in that pic reminds me of your mom....she (and you and your mom) is such a pretty girl!

Oh my heck! This is so funny! I love that she said Justin looks like a gorilla! Remember when all our friends used to say which animals people looked like? She is a mini version of our friends, but mostly you. :)

won't you hate it when she grows out of this and starts to speak normal? it'll be so sad.
