It's just that....
...I have been a bit preoccupied.
You see, my heart has been stolen.
By a girl.
A special girl.
With big brown eyes.
And a wet nose.
And fur.
And soft, floppy ears.
I'd like to introduce to you: "Madison" (or "Maddie," for short)
I am already so freaking in love with her. I can barely stand it. But I will.
We will play games, go for walks, cuddle on the couch, go to the mountains, swim in lakes, play fetch...
I love you, Maddie.
Now please don't chew on any more of my shoes.

Hairy I may be but calling me, your special brown eyed girl, furry is really kind of rude. I am now all sorts of offended. Plus my name isn't maddy. its Melanie. Geez, after all the time we have been spending together you'd figure you could get it right.

There is nothing like the unconditional love of a dog. I often miss our boy Black Jack. Our english Setter that was a big part of our lives for 16 years.
