I'm going to take a brief moment and give my dog a public shout-out for being so dang obedient.
I had to go pick up Kennedy from the neighbor's house, and told Harley to "stay", since I didn't want her roaming along the street and chasing cats. So she obediently stood there while her eyes intently watched me as I crossed the road.
Losing track of time, I stood there chatting it up with the neighbor for about 15 minutes, and when I eventually turned around, I was so pleased to see this:
She was still sitting there. Watching me. Waiting patiently for me to relieve her of her position.
Can we get a close-up?
Oh it's blurry. Sorry. She's still cute. Well anyway, she was rewarded with copious amounts of praise and treats, naturally.
What a freaking sweetheart. I am so in love with her.

Harley is such a good dog. Very sweet natured and generally pretty darn obedient. Unless, of course, there are bubbles or balloons involved.

I am not a dog lover. But if I had to have a dog, I would want it to be one like Harley. Very sweet dog.

That is one awesome dog! Our dog used to be so much better about staying in our front yard if we let him go out there. Now a days he isn't as obedient as he used to be. He's getting old, so I guess he doesn't think he has to live by the rules anymore. Maybe Harley could have a talk with Cooper?

She really is such a sweetheart. You have an angel dog I think. I have never met her equal in the dog world. :)
