Good news, bad news.

Good news:

We had a successful family outing to Gardner Village. Kennedy rode a cute little pony and then effortlessly made her way through the arduous hay maze.

Bad news:

Justin threatened to throw her into the "Witchy Poo" outhouse, which did NOT make her very happy.

Good news:

We bought a new car!

Bad news:

We HAD to by a new car because our old one totally died. RIP

Good news:

Ashlee and I have been having a blast making cakes.

Bad news:

We keep eating them, which probably makes working out completely counterproductive.

I love your cakes - especially that flower and bee one. It's not surprise it was the first picked at the cake walk : )

And you needed a new car - glad you found one you like.

Kennedy is adorable as always....

Glad you had fun at Gardner Village. And congrats on the new car! Is that another Subaru? Did you buy it brand new or used?
I love looking at your cakes, but would love even more to eat them. mmmm.... You're so talented!

Yes Brandon, it is another Subaru. We bought a 2008 (pre-owned). So far we definitely love it!

And you'll be able to taste some of the cake at our Halloween get-together. :)

Those cakes look delicious... except maybe that skull one. ;-) I need to take my boys over to Gardner village, it's so fun with all of the witches. And congrats on the new car! I love getting new cars. I need one - preferably an SUV so I can actually fit all my junk and a stroller in the back. But then I'd have to pay for gas twice as often. Sigh. Anyway, hope you enjoy your new ride! :-)

You are so talented, seriously is there anything you and your mother can't do? I don't think so.

Ashley your so stinkin cute! So Kennedy is amazingly getting so big. Having kids make life go by so quickly...its crazy. Sorry about your car. Its always sad to see a family member pass away..he he he. AND I LOVE YOUR CAKES! I know its cakes, but I've really been obsessed with the movie Julie and Julia. So everytime someone is cooking and loves it, it makes me think of Julia. Everytime I cook I feel like Julia has takin over me....ha ha, even tho the food doesn't turn out the way Julia's has. I LOVE YOU ASHLEY:)

No worries about eating all the cakes! You can sweat it off in the kitchen making more. See?

Congrats on the new wheels...looks like you have more room, too. Subaru's are great in the snow.

Gardner village looks really fun, I would NOT want to go in Witchy Poo's outhouse, either, Geez.

yay for gardner village and yay for witchy poo, our favorite. yay for the new car and yay for the cakes. and may all the cake eating stay away from your hips. although if you are like me, the cake eating would just spread ALL OVER YOUR BODY.
i'll cross my fingers for you.

What a fun family outing! I will have to put that on our list of "to-do"! I know the pain of having a car die, but new wheels are so much fun! Congrats! And, I love those cakes! What a fun talent.

P.S. I haven't been posting on my "updates" because I haven't been looking at anyone else's blogs and don't think people should have to look at mine! I am just too busy with school and have no spare time these days, except for my own blog since it is my journal. Come December, life will be a little easier and then I can go back to keeping up with everyone's lives! One more thing - we did end our Sundance trip with a homemade sucker. I guess I forgot to mention that part!
