Here are some beautiful Hibiscus and other flora we gazed upon as we were exiting the airport in Lihue, Kauai.
And this is a spectacular view of Hanalei Bay.
We have seen dozens of beautiful waterfalls... and everything is so green. SO unlike the desert from which I hail.
Kennedy and I have this "thing" that whenever we look at a flower, we think of each other. So here's a picture of some purple flowers - just for Kennedy - so she knows I was thinking of her.
And I've learned a valuable life lesson...
DON'T FEED THE CHICKENS!
(The baby chicks were so cute... we thought one little piece of bread wouldn't hurt. After all, it was just a sweet mother hen trying to get food for her chicks. Little did I know, they would be back. Every morning, or so I'm told. Sure enough, they were clucking away at our bedroom doors/windows early the next morning begging for more bread. Don't be deceived by the babies' cute little chirps. They will turn into big cock-a-doodle-doo-ing roosters.)

That is so funny Ash! One time, when I was in Hawaii, I fed some kitties... and they were back. everyday we were there, for more food. Dang it! :) I am extremely jealous you are there... I watched the top beaches yesterday and I really wanna go to the beach now!
Not even cool- to post while in paradise. I am so stinkin envious! :)

didn't you know everyone should be as miserable as me back in the snow with nine more weeks left of pregnancy? I can't understand how you did not get that memo.
oh wow, that looks so beautiful.
and what are you doing still wearing pants and t-shirts? shouldn't you be wearing tank tops and shorts by now? :)
Wow, beautiful! I hope I can make it to Hawaii someday. However, I have no idea how to pronounce anything over there. I guess I'll just have to learn!
Hey Ashley! It's Bekah Dudley. Ashley Creger sent me the link to your blog, and it's so fun to see pictures of you and your beautiful daughter. How awesome that you're in Hawaii! You can check out my blog if you want, although lately I'm horrible at updating it and it's rather a bore. Glad you're doing well! I'm so jealous of the warm weather you're in right now!
Those little chickens are so cute. I made the same mistake and was feeding the pigeons on our balcony, several flew into our room and Tim was very angry with me.
That purple flower actually grows here in Phoenix in the summer it's a Vinca!
Keep posting pictures, I'm loving reading all your blogs.
Tempting isn't it? when you get home you're going to want a little chick for a pet. Looks beautiful!!! Hope you are enjoying every moment
Oh, and what are you doing on the computer? you are on vacation for goodness sake, in paradise...
