Holy hiatus, Batman!

I'm blaming the craziness of the holidays for my lack of posts. And while we're at it, let's blame the stupid Jazz. Because they suck right now. Williams should have been kicked out of the game, last night. [I took Ashlee out to the Jazz game for her birthday. We had a BLAST.] For only being a mediocre Jazz fan (at best), I sure showed some Utah pride. I had to make a conscious effort to watch my language for the sake of the nearby children.

On a more cheerful note, Kennedy had her very first dance performance, yesterday! She did one tap dance and one ballet.

Seriously. Isn't that just too adorable for words? I was so proud. She smiled the whole time and danced nearly every step. I will totally post a video... but I'm kind of an idiot (ok, I'm really an idiot, but I'll only publicly admit a fraction of that) and so I still need to buy a cable so I can upload the video from the camcorder.

And since I can never post too many pictures of Kennedy, here's another one for good measure.

For your entertainment, I shall leave you with 2 Kennedy-isms:

K: Knock knock.
A: Who's there?
K: Kennedy
A: Kennedy who?
K: It's me, Kennedy, your daughter! Don't you renember?!?!?

K: Mom, boys have nipples.
A: Yes, they do. So do girls and animals.
K: Yep. I have nipples 'cause I'm a little girl. But when I grow up, I'll have boobies. And then I can wear a bra, and big shoes, like yours... and big boots... and I'll have long hair. When I grow up.

Alright. Hopefully this partial idiot will buy a cable, upload the video, get all of the Christmas shopping done, do the laundry and post again on the blog within the next week. But I'm not betting on it since I'm an idiot. But only partially.

Go Jazz.

She is adorable in her little pink dress (the very same one she was nearly crying over because she 'loves it so much') and I so wish I could have been there for the performance! Get thee to a store and get that cable!

So she's still using the term "daughter" all the time? It cracked me up that she waould always refer to you as my daughter...

Grandma Alli, my mom is your daughter, huh?

Grandma Alli, your daughter is awake now.

Grandma Alli, your daughter is my mom, huh? And I am her daughter...

Grandma Alli, your daughter is very funny....

(Yes she is, but not nearly as funny as my granddaughter!)

LOL- yes, mom. That was hilarious. She still calls me "mother" quite often. It cracks me up.

She looks so adorable, well, that's probably because she is adorable. I wish I could have seen her, so Yes, my darling niece, get a cable. (whatever that does, I'm so not techincal) xxx

i can see kennedy calling your "mother". she's so silly. her dance recital looks very cute!

and i know how it feels to be a mediocre jazz fan. my ears hurt when jeff claps so hard when the jazz do a good play or something.

well if you are an idiot, then i am really starting to wonder what i would be. imbocile? scum? clueless? nope, all to easy. I guess would have to go with utterly useless. yep, that works.
thanks for helping me figure out my label. you really made my day. :)

What cute pictures of Kennedy at her recital! Love, love, love the dress! I honestly thought she was the very cutest little dancer at the recital, but I may be just a little bit biased, to be fair to all the other cute little girls.:)

I'm soooooooooooo sorry I missed the recital :o(. I didn't have to be there to know she was the most adorable child performing on Saturday.
She looks darling in her cute litle dress. I love that she smiled the whole time and enjoyed performing.
I do love the Kennedy-isms. Please keep posting them.
I look forward to the video when you get it up.
I'm sure having a hard time posting this I think I do it right every time and yet I have trouble each and every time. Talk about being an idiot.
