Back in business.

We now return to my life.

Don't act so excited.

I give you: The unveiling of the costumes:

Shaggy, Velma and Daphne. All we needed was the Mystery Machine.

On the afternoon of Halloween, Justin...er...Shaggy brought Daphne to my work for a little trick-or-treating around my office and then some scrumptious hot dogs. After that we went to Shaggy's parent's house to trick-or-treat in the neighborhood for more candy, because, let's face it, I like basically anything with sugar, and I'm going to end up eating most of the candy, anyway, so the more the merrier. Kennedy and her cousin, Kaden, aka teen-wolf, anxiously waited at the door to scare the trick-or-treaters. She then decided she'd rather stay with her cousin than go to a boring adult party, to which Justin and I hurried off to. Her loss, for sure.

A few of our friends (most of which were included in that post about my fabulous friends last week) got together for a little Halloween celebration. Here is the cast of characters involved:

The Simpson's.
The Rockband couple (or Kiss).
Some pirates and their baby tiger (Daryl said he was trying to pull some sort of "Arrgh" pirate face. It didn't quite work, imho.)
And a few other costumes that I didn't end up getting pictures of.

And what is a "real" party without a little Rockband? No party I'd ever go to, I'll tell you that right now.(This is how Justin really learned how to play the bass. It's why he's so good.)
Aw, aren't we cute? I sure think so.Thanks for a great party!! Love you girls!

I love the family theme you got goin' there! So cute! And I was laughing about the same thing your mom said (or is that your mom??) about how funny it is that Kennedy loves to pose. She is so cute!

I love the friends get-together. Looks like fun! and the pic of Kristin scares me a little. I would never have guessed that to be her. :)

I know- Kennedy poses ALL of the time. And looking back at pictures of me, I was definitely that way, too. Still am, unfortunately.

And ya, Kristin gave me a shock each time I looked at her, seeing her white face. She's hilarious.

Looks like a good time was had by all. I think I like Halloween more as I get older. Anyway, your costumes were great! Although, considering Halloween's past, Justin's costume was a little low key - but still great nonetheless.

Kennedy's posing abilitys seems to be the hot topic here. It was going to be my comment as well - wondering if these poses just appear spontaneously...
