A little somethin somethin

As per usual, I have a lot of updating to do, which I don't really have time for. So for now, I will leave you with a little something.

Kennedy wanted her face painted for the 4th of July. She requested a patriotic Ariel.

And then she posed for the camera and stuck that hip out. You go, girl. She then wanted to paint my arm with flowers and a rainbow. Beautiful.
We spent a little time shopping and climbing on random metal vegetables.
Because who wouldn't want to sit on a giant turnip*?
*I have since found out that they are actually sugar beets... since they're in Sugarhouse... makes sense, right?

Dang, Ash! You've got some sweet artistic abilities! And I can see that Kennedy is following in your footsteps :)

She should be a model! I love the serious look with the hip out, while on a chair. Very chic! Also, I think getting my picture taken on a giant metal vegetable sounds like heaven on earth;)

Kaia- those turnips are at the Sugarhouse shopping center on 13th and 21st. I've always thought they were extremely random. lol

Kennedy is getting so grown up! All of a sudden she's not a toddler with chubby cheeks - she's getting long and lean and adorable. Yes, she should be a model. For me : )

Love the face (and arm) painting.

dude, you are starting to make me sick with all your talents. If my daughter asked for a patriotic ariel she would have received a patriotic blob with two dots for eyes.
As a rule, i don't befriend anyone who is uber talented, (makes me too aware of my no talent existence) and I would like you to know that I am bending that rule on a one time basis for you.
Go ahead and feel the blessing of that.

Sounds like a fun 4th. Nice job on the ariel. But...metal vegetables? Interesting...

They grow up so fast. Our grand daughter just turned 5. It seems like everytime we see her she's a whole different person. It looks like you're taking every chance to make memories. Good for you. She's very cute, by the way.
