Puppy love

Justin: I think we should get another dog.
Me: Hahahaha!! Oh man. That's funny. . . ... oh wait. You're serious?

I then proceeded to attempt to talk him out of it, actually believing that it might work. Maybe he'd forget about it and move on. Maybe he would realize that buying a puppy isn't a very smart idea at the moment. Maybe I forgot that it was Justin I was talking to.

That dude is smart. He knows how to work the system.
The next morning he sends me a picture of this:

Seriously? How could I say no to that cute little thing? You're right. I couldn't.

So that evening, I came home to this:

and this:

and this:
and also this:

We are so in love with her. I think you'd have to be lacking a soul to not be in love with her. Unless, of course, she is peeing on the floor, whining, chewing on your shoes/couch/rug/pants/hair/cupboard/door, or biting your nose at 3 in the morning. But then she just looks at you and cocks her head to the side and your heart melts and you forgot why you were upset in the first place.

Harley is loving having a playmate. She was a bit territorial the first day or two, but now I think she's enjoying having another pup to hang out with. And the sweet little pup follows Kennedy all over the house. It's darling.

Welcome to the family, Roxy. Now please stop peeing in the house.

Very cute little puppy! Justin always seems to get what he wants, doesn't he? Puppy pictures - what a persuader... But it sounds like no one's regretting it. Hope you all continue to enjoy it - and train it very quickly. :)

SO cute! I want a dog named Roxy too. I am flat out AMAZED that Justin wanted another dog and you didn't. Isn't it supposed to be the woman that gets baby/puppy hungry.

OMG! That dog is ADORABLE!!

and 2nd of all, welcome to my world. were growing out of the peeing in the house and waking us up at 3am phase, but were still in the chewing phase.

yes, last week dexter chewed books, the couch, a speaker cord and an laptop cord. but when they cock their head to the side you forget all about it.

CONGRATS!! I can't wait to meet her!!

dude, you should have talked to me first. If it something cute that pees a lot that you wanted I could have given you one of my children. They can grow up and work to earn their keep. A dog just sucks the money right out of your pocket and you get nothing in return... other than some wicked carpet stains.
