Justin and Kennedy have loved being able to go hit the slopes a bunch this winter. I haven't been able to go with them (because of something called "work"). Luckily, I finally was able to go night skiing with them last week and had Justin take a video of her hauling butt down the mountain.
Kennedy is a speed demon. No fear. Which is really surprising, since she's afraid of nearly everything else (including getting her face wet).
[warning- you might get dizzy about half way through... since that's when Justin started filming while snowboarding...]
I love how she flaps her arms to gain momentum.
And me? I hadn't been snowboarding in over 6 years, so I am just glad I didn't fall. I did spend most of my time trying to catch up to my two other family members.
This conversation happened a lot:
Dad: Kennedy- slow down!! Wait for mom!
Kennedy: (stopping abruptly and turning around) MOM!!! HURRY UP!!!

She IS a little speed demon! What a great thing to be able to learn so young, and do together as a family.
Love the video. I'm glad she enjoys it and that you've got her out doing these things. It's important to teach her to be active and to have fun times as a family.
Oh my gosh she IS way fast! She is going to be those way good kids that ski perfectly amidst the 26 year old adults who have done it like once! Yep speaking from experience. Love the flapping!
Holy Crap! are you kiddin' me? That is awesome! she is smokin' down that mountain. Yea, I think my last time on the slopes was about the same as yours. Atleast you went and got to enjoy the quiet crisp air. Oh and Kennedy telling you to hurry. Got to love it! way cute and I am glad you got to go.
