Mr. White

In case you weren't aware, like- if you live on a deserted island and have no contact with the outside world, the 2010 winter Olympics are going on right now. They're kind of a big deal.

And so is Shaun White.

What's that? You DO live on said deserted island? Well I'm glad you decided to take a little vacation to visit the mainland and check my blog. And since you obviously missed the video of Shaun, you can see it here:

NBC Olympics- Shaun White

I think he is superhuman.

Okay wasn't that amazing! Steve and I were watching it last night in complete "WOWNESS"-yea, it would have been nice to be on an island but lets be serious here...we wouldn"t want to miss out on your blog life and the olympics. pshh! Shaun is quite the super human snowboarder.

It was pretty incredible. I kept thinking - these guys are INSANE!! And yet they make it look so easy and so fun.... well, except the Japanese guy who ended up with a bloody face.

i feel bad for people like that. you know, the ones that have no talent. i mean, what is he going to accomplish in his life? so glad i have so many skillz. cause if i didn't watching that would make me feel like a loser.... which it definitely didn't.

Due to Olympic broadcasting regulations, NBC is only allowed to show Olympic competition video on the internet to users in the United States and U.S. Territories (including Puerto Rico). That unfortunately excludes persons such as myself currently residing in Costa Rica. :( Sad.

He is a great guy. I love watching him. I just found out his hideout place was close to me in silverton CO.

You can't watch it, Jen? Well that is definitely too bad. At least you live in Costa Rica. If I couldn't watch the Olympics, that is where I'd want to be instead :)

Winter Olympics? What?! Is it still winter? I must live on a deserted island or something. Actually, I knew they were going on, but only because people keep talking about it on Facebook. lol.

Ashley Rae said...

Haha! Yes, Brandon- in many parts of the world it IS still winter. Hopefully not for much longer...

My sister and I screamed out loud! He is a-maz-ing! LOVE HIM!

I love him because he is one of the only Olympic athletes I have ever heard thank his parents for hauling his arse all over the place to get him where he is, I think he said that in the last Olympics. He is incredible!!

I might have a small crush on Mr White, and yes ditto Chris's comments, he is humble as well.
