Dumb building.

Whatever the season, whether it be summer or winter, my office is usually 10 degrees. Below zero.

So I have to use one of these:
and, as silly as I would look, at times I have been tempted to purchase one of these:

As I was deciding what to wear this morning, I thought it might be smart to wear something similar to this:

so that I wouldn't be freezing my A off at work.

Well, I get to work this morning. And it is abnormally warm. Way too warm. Apparently big huge expensive downtown buildings can't handle the Day Light Savings' time change, so they freak out and turn the thermostat all the way up to 100 degrees. I have been sweating all day.

Around 2:00 this afternoon, an apologetic e-mail was sent to everyone saying it will be fixed by tomorrow. Screw you, work.

The whole thing is very rude. You should have been given the day off while they got their act together. You shouldnt be expected to work in such an obviously confusing environment.

Personally, I've never been the same after that tortuous three weeks in July 1988 when it was over 100 and the air conditioning in my office building could not cope. Can you say heat stroke?

Why can't office buildings ever get the damn thermostat right? I remember freezing my arse off at my desk. Why is it so difficult?

Buy the Snuggly (is that what it's called?), you know you want one.

@Kristin- That should definitely be illegal. When that happens, all employees should be given the day off. I mean, how productive are we when we're worrying about whether to bring a parka or swimsuit?

@Chris- Maybe I'll get a snuggie for christmas. Have you seen the commercials for them?? I laugh so hard every time.

There is almost nothing worse than bundling up and then sweating to death. So sorry.
